Airspace observers conduct unaided scanning for airborne hazards, while unmanned aircraft observers are positioned alongside the remote pilot and assist in maintaining awareness of the unmanned aircraft’s location and compliance with VLOS requirements. Explore the specific roles, develop effective airspace-scanning and communication techniques, and learn appropriate responses to routine, abnormal, and emergency situations. The course also addresses VLOS operations and, where authorised, BVLOS operations.

By the end of this course, you will have acquired the underpinning knowledge required for UAS visual observer duties. However, completion of this course alone does not establish operational competence and does not replace operator-specific briefings, practical training, or competence assessments.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0887/3367/9954/files/UASVisualObserversSafety_Communication_andOperationalExcellence.jpg?v=1792160236
https://shop.coptrz.com/products/uas-visual-observers-safety-communication-and-operational-excellence
